KOTNDirections to the Facility:

From Toronto – 359km

  • Take Highway 400 northbound to Highway 11 North
  • Highway 11 North to Lake Nosbonsing Rd / Hwy 654 W in Callander. Take exit 329 off of Hwy 11.
  • Turn right (west) onto Hwy 654 and follow to Hwy 94.
  • Take Hwy 94 to Hwy 17.
  • Turn right onto highway 17 east and follow to Highway 531 Bonfield.
  • Turn right onto Hwy 531 Bonfield
  • Follow Hwy 531 to the end and Proceed left onto Railway street
  • Turn left off of Railway Street onto Biosvert Street
  • Turn right onto Young Street, follow Young street (Young turns into Gagnon Street) to Development Road.
  • Turn left (east) onto Development Road and drive 1km.
  • King of the North Dragway & Event Park main entrance is located on your left 1km from the Intersection of Development Road and Gagnon Street.

From Ottawa – 339km

  • Take Highway 417 / Trans Canada Hwy West
  • Proceed on 17 Trans Canada Hwy West
  • urn left on Gagné Rd just after the Esso Station
  • Left on Park St, right on Rutherglen Line
  • Right on Development Rd to 357.

From Timmins – 394km

  • Take Highway 101 east to Hwy 11 south
  • Follow Hwy 11 south through North Bay
  • Take Highway 17 East to Hwy 531 Bonfield
  • Turn right onto Hwy 531 Bonfield
  • Follow Hwy 531 to the end and Proceed left onto Railway street
  • Turn left off of Railway Street onto Biosvert Street
  • Turn right onto Young Street, follow Young street (Young turns into Gagnon Street) to Development Road.
  • Turn left (east) onto Development Road and drive 1km.
  • King of the North Dragway & Event Park main entrance is located on your left 1km from the Intersection of Development Road and Gagnon Street.

Stand by for Excitement, Race #5 this Weekend!

Hard to believe but race 5 is upon us and it’s time for our traditional late summer start! This late start gives more racers and more fans an opportunity to get to the track and have some fun even if they have to work Saturday! Our OSCA qualifying will begin at 3pm but the gates still open at 9am and there will be a track run test session from 11am to 3pm! Lots of time for some great testing for everyone! The morning test session is just $30 so tell your friends! Even if they are not racing OSCA they will get lots of passes before our program starts at 3pm!

Here’s our OSCA schedule for

12pm-OSCA tech and registration

3pm-OSCA round 1 qualifying with the run order as follows:

OSCA Reaches the Mid Point of the 2014 Season at St Thomas this Weekeknd!

OSCA and the PTRAAll right gang our St Thomas event is upon us and we hope you’re as excited as we are to return to this historic venue.  Here’s a
rundown on the weekend gate fees and our schedule of events.

Gate times:

Friday

5:30pm gates open (Friday night test and tune 6-10pm)

Saturday

8:30am gates open

9:00am OSCA tech and registration

10:30am on track for round 1 qualifying

Sunday

9:30am gates open

10:00am OSCA tech and registration

12:00pm on track for round 1 qualifying

 

Gate fees (tech card must be purchased separately):

$50 weekend camping (Fri-Sun)
$15/day racer/spectator
$10/night camping

 

OSCA staff will be on site Friday for those who wish to tech early for the weekend.

All OSCA classes will be contested 1/8th mile this weekend.

Our regular indexes will run as follows

12.90=8.35

11.90=7.65

10.90=7.00

9.90=6.35

8.90=5.70

All our Comp classes will still allow 1/10th breakout allowance.

All Heads Up classes will use current rule set and will be subject to regular tech and weight inspection.

Time to Go Racing!

Race #3 “The Heat is On!” is upon us and we couldn’t be more excited.  This JRP sponsored event features the best street legal style JRPonlydrag racing in Southern Ontario.  Points battle are starting to form and the pressure is on for all our racers!

Gates open at 9am both Saturday and Sunday and qualifying begins at 11am!  Here’s a copy of our run order and lane designations to help you plan your weekend!
